Anne Dyck, formerly of Springstein, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, one month prior to her 99th birthday.
She will lovingly be remembered by her children Edith (Peter) Thiessen, Susan Dyck, Kathy (Lee) Gregory, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Anne was predeceased by her husband Jacob, son Gerald and great-grandson Luke.
She is also survived by siblings, Gertrude Rempel and Adolf Schlichting and sister-in-laws Martha Schlichting and Nettie Dyck.
A service to celebrate Anne’s life will take place on April 17, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Springstein Mennonite Church, 22 Victoria Road, Springstein, Manitoba.

We would like to express our condolences to Anne’s family. Because of health reasons we were unable to be with you at the Springstein church, where l, Esther attended all my growing up years. Opa annd Oma and Anne and her sisters lived only a quarter mile away from where I grew up. They did the milking. Later after I was married, Cornie and I remember fondly the times we visited Uncle JJ and Aunt Anne at their farm home. Always felt so loved! The last time was when they were living in their new yard there, Cornie wasbso impressed with Auntie Anne being so very involved with her Jack in their farming operation, when she expresses to Jack that he needed to get the feeder chain of their combine fixed up or purchase a new combine so their harvest that year would go smoothly- and he agreed. Nice memory! I would have loved to be there at the funeral service and have had the chance to meet those who were there.
